Lolita worked as the dramaturg on The Old Vic’s production of Sylvia. Working closely with the writer, the dramaturg helps shape the narrative arc of a story by offering structural, plot, character and contextual insights. Lolita describes the role of dramaturg as being ‘best friend to the writer’, helping them to reflect on the story they want to tell and the best way in which to tell it.
