A Unique Transatlantic Collaboration

The TS Eliot US/UK Exchange is a thrilling opportunity for emerging artists to follow in the footsteps of the great poet and playwright, immersing themselves in a different artistic culture and setting free their creative ambitions.

This year, 50 actors, writers, directors and producers travelled from London to New York to engage in a week of cultural activity and artistic development, hosted by The Public Theater, an NYC institution and home to some of America's most exhilarating theatre. A month later, 50 American actors, writers, directors and producers came to London to meet with representatives from The Old Vic, The Royal National Theatre, The Royal Court, The Bush Theatre, The Soho Theatre and many more. Each Exchange week comprised a heady and challenging mix of orientation games, talks, workshops, devising sessions, theatre visits and scratch performances, allowing participants to learn new skills at the same time as soaking up the atmosphere of their host city.
