We offer a unique opportunity for actors, writers, directors and producers, between the ages of 21 and 30 based in New York, to participate in The Old Vic's award-winning programme for emerging talent.
We offer year-round activities dedicated to supporting our members' professional growth, including unrivalled career support, a dynamic programme of masterclasses and networking events.
We now have over 150 members who have been recruited via industry recommendation e-mail oldvicnewyork@oldvictheatre.com for an application form.
In the last year alone, we have offered our members over 200 hours of professional development opportunities including networking events, masterclasses and the Bloomingdale's Workshop Series which grants access to the very best minds in the business. Not to mention support through mentoring, special projects, rehearsal space, and regular contact with Old Vic staff throughout the year.
Recent Network events have included talks with John Guare, Eve Best, Mary Stuart Masterson and John Lahr, and workshop sessions on personal branding, interpreting classic work and producing from scratch.
Members also get priority access to The TS Eliot US/UK Exchange a thrilling opportunity to immerse yourself in a different artistic culture. Successful applicants spend a week living, learning, and developing theatre in London, identifying transatlantic career opportunities, showcasing their talents and forging dynamic relationships with peer artists from the OVNV Club. Your host is The Old Vic, the legendary home of Laurence Olivier, John Gielgud, and now under the Artistic Direction of Kevin Spacey.
